Jennifer Richardson


BOARD MEMBER

 

Jennifer Richardson is an Ohio and Minnesota licensed attorney passionate about helping the disenfranchised and those in need. She currently lives in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota with her husband, Kris, and their two dogs, Artie and Fluff.

 

Jennifer has always been passionate about social justice issues. She pursued a dual bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from Graceland University. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo. While earning her law degree, she met her husband Kris. After their respective graduations, they moved to Columbus, Ohio so that Kris could pursue his post-graduate degree in Chemical Engineering. During this time, Jennifer spent a number of years working in the legal recruiting industry helping attorneys and legal support staff to find jobs and progress their careers.

 

After Kris earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering, Jen and Kris moved to Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, where Kris accepted a job as a Senior Research Scientist with 3M. After this move, Jennifer began pursuing a career working with refugees and non-profits in order to assist the immigrant and refugee community in the Twin Cities.

 

​Given Jennifer’s passion for working to better the community, she has been very excited to be a part of It All Matters. The organization’s focus on families and children is something she is very passionate about, as it affects members of all cultures and backgrounds.

 

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys CrossFit, reading, and renovating her house with her husband.
